Counseling, Interventions & Transports

Counseling
I specialize in drug and alcohol counseling with extensive experience in treating behavioral addictions.
Crisis Support – As a trained crisis counselor, I provide immediate, expert guidance in time-sensitive situations. Families often feel overwhelmed and uncertain, and my calm presence and expertise help navigate the best course of action.
Co-Occurring Disorders – I am certified to assess and counsel individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and OCD.
Substance Abuse – As a CADC-II Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I offer personalized recovery solutions. Services include intake assessments, individual and family counseling, and phone sessions for immediate support. While face-to-face appointments are preferred, I provide flexible options to meet each client’s needs.
Interventions
& Transports
A well-planned intervention can be life-changing, disrupting destructive behaviors and guiding a loved one toward treatment.
Accepting help - or even being exposed to it - is a crucial first step in the healing process for the entire family. Interventions aren’t one-time events; they’re a process that begins with a tailored treatment plan and continues with ongoing recovery work.
As a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP), I provide education, direction, and training to support families through this journey. If removal from the home is necessary, I research and coordinate treatment facility visits to find the best fit. My team can also arrange safe transport if needed. In critical situations, you can rely on fast, expert assistance.
Navigating the medical and educational recovery systems is complex, but I’m here to guide you every step of the way to make sure you and your loved one receive the support and advocacy you need.
Transition Planning
After-care management is a collaborative process of planning and coordinating continued support for clients ready to rebuild their lives. Recovery doesn’t end with residential treatment - ongoing therapy, resources, and guidance are crucial for successful transitions.
I work with families to develop personalized after-care plans, collaborating with clinical teams to ensure the right level of support. This may include referrals for therapy, psychiatry, outpatient programs, 12-step meetings, and community support groups.
I also coordinate essential services such as:
-
Randomized drug testing and monitoring
-
Relapse prevention planning
-
Vocational coaching, budgeting, and money management
Structure and support is needed for long-term recovery.
